Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi
Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director-General/CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, is a transformational expert with key competencies across policy formulation, administration, growth management, talent development, solutions architecture, resource mobilisation and strategy implementation.
Inuwa is a thoroughbred IT professional, with an impressive resume in public and private sector IT development, policy formulation, and IT governance. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. He holds various executive certificates from top-notch universities such as Harvard University, University of Cambridge, London Business School and Oxford University, UK. Abdullahi is also an alumnus of the prestigious IMD Business School, Switzerland, and a trained strategist from the world-famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He equally holds many professional certifications in telecommunications, service management, networking, and solution design.
Inuwa being the first Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Nigeria’s public sector has bagged nearly 2 decades of experience in the public and private IT space. He started his professional career at Galaxy Backbone Ltd where he served as a network engineer and senior network and lead solution architect. In 2014, he joined the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a Technology Architect where he was part of the team that developed the CBN Technology Architecture Repository (TAR) and also executed software license rationalization that has increased cost savings for the bank in licensing annual subscription. He joined NITDA in 2017 as the Technical Assistant to the then Director General, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, and has significantly contributed to the Agency’s growth and development.
On 20th August 2019, Mr. Inuwa was appointed the Director-General of NITDA by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. Thus far, Mr. Inuwa has steered the Agency along the path of working creatively and assiduously for the growth of the IT sector in Nigeria.
Under the direction of Mr. Inuwa, NITDA has achieved several milestones in just three years. He has rolled out various programmes towards digital transformation, talent development, digital innovation and entrepreneurship, developmental regulations, exploring emerging technology, and promotion of indigenous IT content amongst others.
Dr. Robinson Tombari Sibe
Dr. Robinson Tombari Sibe is a globally respected expert in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity, and trusted technology leader, with over two decades of experience. As the CEO and Lead Forensic Examiner of Digital Footprints Nig. Ltd, he has spearheaded some of the most complex digital investigations and cybersecurity projects in Nigeria and internationally.
A celebrated leader in the field, Dr. Sibe was honored as Nigeria’s Cybersecurity Personality of the Year 2025 at a conference jointly organized by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, NITDA, and the OPice of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). He serves on several Boards, including that of the Africa ICT Alliance (AfICTA), representing private sector interests across 38 African nations.
Dr. Sibe is a prolific scholar-practitioner. He serves as a Professor of Practice (Cybersecurity) at Miva Open University, a Visiting Fellow of the University of South Wales (UK), a member of the Advisory Board of the Ph.D Information Technology programme of University of the Cumberlands, USA, and a lecturer at the Rivers State University.
He has a PhD in Information Technology (Digital Forensics) and a Master of Science in Digital Forensics, both from the University of the Cumberlands, USA. He also has a Master of Engineering in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the Rivers State University. His academic contributions include serving as co-author of the seminal Springer text, Cybercrime, Digital Forensic Readiness, and Financial Crime Investigation in Nigeria. He has also published several articles and papers in peer reviewed journals, served as lead consultant for developing national frameworks and SOPs for digital forensics.
Dr. Sibe has facilitated several high impact trainings internationally. He is also a trusted advisor and consultant to sovereign entities, multilateral organisations, and international bodies and remains at the forefront of securing the digital frontier. His consulting portfolio spans several countries and sectors, including finance, law enforcement, criminal justice, defense, national CERTs, energy, etc. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and holds numerous elite industry certifications.
Dr. Emmanuel Obongha Okoi
Dr. Emmanuel Obongha Okoi is a distinguished cybersecurity, digital & mobile forensics expert with over 16 years of hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and blockchain forensics investigation. He is the Chief Executive Officer of CYESEC TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, one of Africa’s fastest-growing cybersecurity and e-Solutions firms. A multicertified professional, Dr. Okoi began his career as a Cisco Network Administrator and evolved into a global cybersecurity and forensics consultant recognized for his deep technical expertise, innovative research, and leadership in digital transformation and cyber resilience. He has designed and implemented advanced cybersecurity architectures, led Red and Blue Team operations, and managed IT security projects for major organizations across Africa, including MTN Nigeria, INEC, Nigerian Ports Authority, SwissPort Ghana, West Blue Alliance Zambia, Canada, USA, India, Haifa in Israel and the Nigerian Military.
Abdulmalik Abdulaziz
Mr. Abdulmalik Abdulaziz is an EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), cybersecurity professional, red teamer, dark web researcher, and web master who is passionate about helping individuals and organizations stay safe in the digital world.
He is the Lead of the Digital Security Ambassador Network (DSAN), where he works on promoting cybersecurity awareness, digital resilience, cyber hygiene, and responsible technology use across communities in Nigeria.
Over the years, Abdulmalik has been actively involved in cybersecurity awareness campaigns, vulnerability assessments, digital investigations, web infrastructure management, and practical cybersecurity training. His work focuses on areas such as Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), cyber threat analysis, social engineering awareness, and grassroots-level cyber defense strategies.
Known for his practical and hands-on approach, he has trained students, professionals, and institutions on digital safety, ethical cybersecurity practices, and emerging cyber threats affecting today’s connected world.
Abdulmalik strongly believes that cybersecurity awareness should not be limited to experts alone but should reach everyday people, local communities, schools, and organizations to help build a more secure and digitally resilient society.
