NCS SPECIAL INVITATION
On behalf of the President of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Prof. Charles O. Uwadia FNCS, members of the National Executive Council and members of the Conferences Committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to our 22nd National Conference.
Theme: “Enabling Capacities of Information Technology (IT) for Sustainable National Development” (ENCITDEV 2008)".
Venue: Valley View, Government House, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Host : Otunba Gbenga Daniel - Executive Governor, Ogun State.
Date: Tuesday, June 24th to Friday, June 27th, 2008.
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Daily
Attraction: The occasion will witness the Annual General Meeting of the Society and the 30th anniversary.
In addition, a special day has been set-aside for NACOSS night, Spouses’ night & MD/CEO’s night, for interaction and exchange of ideas among our numerous and varied categories of members.

Registration starts from now, Monday to Friday at the Secretariat till May 31st, 2008. On Monday, June 23rd, 2008 registration starts at 3.00pm at Gateway Hotel, Abeokuta. All participants MUST register.
Registration entitles you to:
- Attend the opening and closing sessions
- Attend all technical sessions
- Receive the Conference proceedings, bags, writing materials, identification badge etc.
- Take part in all coffee/tea breaks
- Take part in the IT Lucky Dip
Only registered participants will be allowed to participate at all Conference activities. Admission into any of the events will be by identification tags, which will be issued to all registered participants.

Cancellation received on or before 6th June, 2008: 50% refund
Cancellation received after 6th June, 2008: No refund
Instructions to Authors
- Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (300-500 words) in English on original work intended for presentation at. ENCITDEV
- Abstracts must have relevance to one or more of the sub-themes listed, or appropriate technology related topics.
- Each abstract must include title of paper, full name(s) of all author(s), e-mail addresses and Phone numbers.
- Where there are multiple authors, only one can enjoy the 20% discount and at least one author must pre-register to qualify for inclusion of paper in conference proceedings.
- Abstract acceptance will be confirmed after necessary corrections/modification by reviewers have been fully carried out.
- All papers accepted for presentation will be published, as reviewed articles in the conference proceedings, which will be made available to registered participants.
- Only abstracts received on schedule will be considered.
Format of Paper
All papers should be submitted electronically as an attached Microsoft Word or PDF document.
